BUILD Your TEAM
Friends, I don’t know if you’ve heard the news, but the work is about to begin. Our new Fellowship Hall air conditioning system is finally moving forward. Before long, we will be trading in our Sunday sauna sessions for cool, refreshing air. Praise God for the gift of AC and for the team that has come together to make it happen.
This project reminds me so much of what we talked about on Sunday. From the skilled workers who will climb into ducts and wire up units, to the trustees who have made careful decisions, to the faithful giving that helps projects like this happen, everyone has a role. Just like our sermon reminded us, we build stronger when we build together.
It is a fun reminder that the church is not just bricks or mortar or shiny new AC units. The church is the people of God, each one of us bringing our gifts, service, prayers, and presence. When those come together, something beautiful happens, and yes, something comfortable too.
Now, I want to speak with you more seriously. Our latest financial report indicates that, as of July 31, 2025, our operating budget has a deficit exceeding $30,000. Giving over the summer was lower than expected, and this shortfall affects every area of ministry. These are not just numbers. They represent the resources that allow us to worship, disciple, serve our community, and remain strong as a church family.
Just as it takes a team to install the AC, it takes all of us, working together and giving generously, to keep our church healthy and moving forward in mission and ministry. I invite you to prayerfully consider how you can be part of closing this gap. Every gift matters, no matter the size. Every act of generosity strengthens the body of Christ. Together, we can meet this need and continue building the kind of church God is calling us to be.
Thank you for being part of this team through your prayers, your service, and your giving.

God Bless,
