Every year, Pittman Park UMC displays three crosses on the lawn. On Palm Sunday, the center cross is adorned in purple, representing Christ the King on Good Friday, the cross is draped in black, representing death, and on Easter Sunday, the decoration is white to announce victory and life.
Pittman Park UMC is located in Statesboro, Georgia near Georgia Southern University.
